About Cleansee
Cleansee is an app for beach users – whether they are families, swimmers, dog-walkers, anglers, sailors, yoga practitioners, or teenagers having fun.
Users select their favourite beaches, and then see live updates on:
- Ongoing / recent sewage spillages
- Tide times
- Wave heights
Accompanying the app is a kit which enables users to build a physical device that is connected to the app and will respond to updates on sewage spillages:

The app is currently focused on Southeast England – the coast which takes sewage outflow from Southern Water.
We intend to make it UK-wide during 2025.
